Other tracking options automatically provide the ETA for every job telling dispatch who the closest available driver is to the call. We use geofencing with tracking to automatically time stamp when a driver arrives to the scene and leave, as well as can provide patrol tracking using customer polygon geofences.
Q8: How does your software handle multiple drivers/trucks on one call? : Dispatch can easily add multiple divers to a single call by clicking on the drivers name. This can trigger an alert to the driver with job specific information. Multiple trucks usually add into a call as line items on the invoice.
Q9: Does your software provide audit trails (e.g. when calls are assigned, hooked, completed, reconciled, etc.)? : We offer the most extensive audit trail available, period. We track ever single character to every piece of info added, changed, or removed from a call. We track the specific user, the device, the time, and the location that changes are made. You can change what times a user can adjust and what times they cannot adjust.
Q10: Does your software allow for alerting and if so how? (I.e. yellow notification when a vehicle has been stored for 7 days, red when it hits 30 days, etc.) : Yes, automatic email, text, push notification alerts can be triggered to any user. We can also create custom reports and lists that use color coding like green, yellow, red to alert users when to take an action.
Q11: Does your software provide for uploading of photos to accompany an accident report?: Yes, and photos can automatically be sent within an alert. They can also be downloaded and or printed anytime including on the invoice.

Full-featured invoice auditing is included and tracks all financial data changes along with the user name, date/time, previous/new values.

You can setup common search field for quick and easy access, use a global search, or even post a link on your website to allow the public (or specific clients through a login) to search for tow in (you can control what is visible in search results for any user). Also when searching you can search with partial info or for exact matches (like half of the license plate instead of the entire plate).
Q13: How does your software allow for storage tracking (e.g. bar coding, etc.) : Yes, Storage is automatically tracked using the app.
Q14: Does your software offer a customer portal where they can track their vehicles, see storage charges, etc.?: Yes, the customer portal is fully configurable to control what is accessible. You can share reports, lists, history,and many other things. It can also be used to request a tow or check the status of a current job or request.

Q12: Does your software offer multiple ways to search for a vehicle (look up by vehicle make, model, plate, last 6 of VIN, etc.) : "The Tow Administrator has a dedicated search screen where you can search for any vehicle ever entered into the system. Search on nearly 60 different data fields, and all search parameters can accept partial text (e.g. any part of a VIN can be searched, or entering “thom” will return “Thomas” and “Thompson” for names, etc.), plus search parameters can be combined into millions of different combinations. For example, you can search for all Fords with a Registered Owner named John in the last year with just a few clicks."

Storage differences: Omadi offers a customer portal that is fully configurable to control what is accessible. You can share reports, lists, history,and many other things. Q15: How does your software package handle the lien process? : We track the entire lien process from the vehicle being towed to impound all the way through to the vehicle sale or release. This process is configured to how the tow company wants to receive reminders and notifications to take a vehicle through the process. We produce custom PDF documents for clients like notifications/letters to vehicle owners, state required documents, and auction packets. You can attach paperwork to the tow record to store it digitally forever. We now also offer an integration with AutoDataDirect to help companies using their service for the same process.
Q16: What reports does your software offer and can they be tailored to individual company needs (e.g. customization of invoices, etc.) : First, we offer a custom reporting aspect where you can adjust or create reports specific to your company that will be used to run the business. In doing so we have developed many standard report templates like daily totals reports (for total calls, tows, billings, money collected) and each report can be viewed with different groupings (e.g. revenue by driver, revenue by truck, revenue by tow yard, revenue by customer, revenue by police department). We have not yet run into a report that Omadi could not recreate.

Q16: What reports does your software offer and can they be tailored to individual company needs (e.g. customization of invoices, etc.) : Various financial reports such as Sales Journal, Income Reports, A/R reports are included, along with multiple reconciliation and commission reports. Dozens of invoice and receipt variations are available and as well as many custom-built reports and letters for financial recovery and collections. New reports are added through our CDR process.
