The Holidays are a busy time for everyone. For many, the weather conditions are often more severe: roads are icy/snowy, increased traffic, lower visibility, etc. We created this short video message as a reminder of what it’s all about: family. We LOVE this time of year to celebrate and spend quality time with friends and family. So, be safe out there and thank you for your dedicated work. See you next year—
There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about the things I’ve seen. The Road is an unforgiving, unbiased force. It gives and it takes. Every job has a story, has a face, has a family.
It’s easy to take it all for granted. But that text, that post, that drink… is it worth it? Futures can be crushed in an instant. Accidents happen, but the saddest part is, most can be prevented by preparation.
There’s a cost on both sides of the white line. For us, it’s not a job, it’s a calling. We seek to protect—to make the best of the worst—and to get everyone home.
It’s a season of hustle and bustle. We’ve all got places to go and people to see. So the next time you see us working the line, do your part by giving us some breathing room. Take a moment to understand, to find compassion, to give empathy to all involved.
Be grateful for what you have, and more importantly for who you have. Remember why you do what you do, and help us do what we do best.
This holiday season, give yourself the time you need to be safe. And give me the room I need to make it home. After all, we’re all part of the human family.
